Everything you would expect in a village and it's village hall. Attended a birthday event in the hall. The birthday girl a young 80...... Lots of memories shared of growing up in Aston. Lovely.

Been to this location a few times when different friends book the hall for oçcasions/parties. Space and kitchen availability is very useful for our purposes. Parking is good, but always good to be aware of the numbers, which we had to at one point. I think the management are also very fair and easy to deal with seeing as my friends keep coming back to them.

I have no words to describe my experience when I hired the hall. I booked them for a kids disco party, their electrics failed to work and in the end there was no disco. The staff were very unhelpful only came to check briefly tried to help then walked away from the apparent ‘mess’. The other man chased us off the premises when all we were trying to do was clean the hall. I spent months planning my sons party and was really disappointed by the service I received. I wouldn’t risk booking them for anything that involves using their electricity. I will be making a formal complaint.

I used to play badminton here and It was good. We managed to go every week and it had a net and court so we could play. The downsides however was that the ceiling is quite low so we kept accidentally hitting it and the floor was very slippery (We think it was down to the dust on the floor). I have lived in Aston for my whole life and the village hall has housed some great events I have been to and participated in. I know the preschool goes in the hall so it will get dirty but it does feel like they could do a better job with cleaning. Also the back rooms are quite cluttered although there isn't much that could be done about that

Great place, had everything I needed for the event I was organising, and at a great price, plenty of parking, dog friendly, and a safe area for your dogs to run around.
